My story
Everything we experience is of value.
All life adventures, encounters and ordeals, and the traumas we emotionally bury; they all serve.
I haven’t always known this. However what I learned on my life journey, through my transitions as life morphed, has put me exactly where I am now; to be of service in the best way I can. So please allow me to tell you my story…
I knew a girl once… She was the eldest of four children, born to a couple in Israel. At first she enjoyed a happy childhood, and then her first real adventure happened at the age of twelve, when her family relocated for her fathers work, to the heart of the jungle in Zaire, Africa.
The first year in Zaire felt like a holiday camp, and her parents soon decided that the schooling she was receiving was insufficient, and they sent her back to Israel to live with her grandmother to complete her education.

Detached so suddenly from her family, the girl had to swallow her feelings and quickly become independent, and for six years saw her parents and siblings only for summer holidays.
As time passed, she went from secondary school, to the army, and on to university. Now she was an accomplished and responsible woman; she married, had three wonderful kids, and an impressive career. Just as had always been expected and planned.
Everything was ‘by the book’, and she juggled her duties for over 20 years like the superwoman she had always aspired to be!
Her progress was impressive; working for one of the big four accounting firms and then transitioning to banking. And for 16 years she climbed the ladder, working internationally at a senior level, but there was a niggling feeling creeping in…She wasn’t living ‘her calling’.
What was going on?
There was a small voice, begging to be heard…
For the first time in her life, she stopped and listened to that voice, and it was to be the first step in a major life transformation.
She could barely believe what she was doing as she walked away from the security and structure of her well-established career with all it’s perks and benefits, not to mention the superior pension plan which promised her a comfortable old age…
It was maverick and almost unthinkable, but at the same time it felt deeply right.
Departing from life as she had known it, the woman, at the age of 46, embarked on an adventure of intense self-discovery, which morphed her into a new person…
The person I am now.
I liken that first major transition to pulling out of a motor race and killing the engine; the pace and the din of daily living, expectations and demands were suddenly dulled, and I began to realise I had been deaf and blind to my actual purpose.
The next four years were filled with enriching personal development, studying and experiencing new areas of interest; spirituality, nutrition, sport, natural health and global environmental challenges. I changed my diet and became vegan, started to practice yoga on a regular basis, and embraced the unknown.
Fast-forward to March 2020, just as the world around me was going through unprecedented change, I experienced an almost overpowering urge to return to the corporate world I once knew, to be of service, in a whole new way.
I would train as a coach, supporting corporate professionals working on their own personal, career or life transformations.
